Asus Zenfone 5 Which was Launched Last Year achieved good success whereas Micromax Yureka Yu which is launched in January 2015 creating waves in the Social networks and is only being sold via flash sales at Amazon.

The Micromax Yu Yureka has a Snapdragon 615 octa-core processor (with 4 cores at 1GHz and 4 cores at 1.5GHz) and has Adreno 405 graphics. The Asus Zenfone 5 (A501CG) has a 1.6GHz Intel Atom dual-core processor and PowerVR SGX544MP2 GPU.

Ram and Storage

Zenfone 5 has 2GB of RAM and comes in two storage models (8 or 16GB). Both models are expandable to 64GB via microSD.On Other Hand The Micromax phone has 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage that’s expandable via microSD to 32GB.

Battery

Yu Yureka’s Lacks in this Department. It has got a 2500 mAh battery. Most of the phones at this range comes with similar battery sizes. But the Asus Zenfone 5’s battery is on the low side, coming at 2110 mAh. And the phone is also having battery drain issue because of the low battery size.

Price

Micromax shocked everyone with the pricing of the Yu Yureka, it is priced at Rs 8999.On the Other Hand Asus Zenfone 5 prices has also been reduced  the 16gb version is available at Rs 9399 on Flipkart.

Final Conclusion

Asus Zenfone 5 is a great Alternative to the Yu Yureka! The only thing that was holding back Zenfone 5 from competing Yureka was it’s price. Now as the price of both the phones have been matched.

But, Asus Zenfone 5 has got something that Yureka can’t offer. That is availability Zenfone 5 is available on Flipkart now. But Yureka will only be available on Amazon.in and you’ll have to register on Amazon to buy it.
