The iPhone 5c comes in five colors: blue, green, pink, yellow and white.
The Apple iPhone 5c has been crafted from a single, hard-coated polycarbonate body with a steel reinforced frame for a solid, sturdy feel. The internal components of the phone are held by the steel frame which also doubles as the iPhone 5c's multiband antenna. The enclosure is one continuous and seamless structure that is finished with a hard coat for a durable and incredibly glossy surface.
The iPhone 5c is set to hit store shelves starting September 20th.
OS and Processor
The iPhone 5c comes with the Apple-designed A6 chip found in the iPhone 5 which provides incredible performance and power efficiency while delivering great battery life. From launching apps to loading web-pages, everything is fast on the iPhone 5c thanks to the A6 processor. The 5c comes with iOS 7 which features a new user interface among other features. The iOS 7 has been designed to complement the exteriors of the iPhone 5c with matching wallpapers and translucency that carries the color through to the entire iPhone experience.
Hardware
Just like the iPhone 5, the iPhone 5c comes with a 4-inch full sRGB Retina display. The iPhone 5c's battery offers 10 hours of talk time on 3G networks, 10 hours of web browsing on Wi-Fi and LTE networks and up to 8 hours on 3G networks. The battery allows up to 10 hours of video playback and up to 40 hours of audio playback.
Camera and Memory
The iPhone 5c comes with an 8-megapixel iSight rear-camera with backside illumination and a 5-element lens. The iPhone 5c also has a new FaceTime HD front-camera which promises better low-light performance.
The iPhone 5c comes in 16 and 32 GB internal memory variants for storage. There is no option for memory expansion, but iCloud storage allows for cloud-based storage for backup purposes.
Media and Connectivity
Through iOS 7, iPhone 5c has a lot of media offerings, chiefly through access to Apple's App Store which offers more than 9,00,000 apps spread across different categories. For connectivity, the iPhone 5c offers support for more LTE wireless bands, includes dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, 3G and 2G.
